Included in the list of services provided by Holiday Coast Bushfire Solutions are Reports and advice in relation to: BAL assessments; Subdivisions and boundary adjustments; New homes, home additions, dual occupancies and “granny flats; Special Fire Protection Purposes “developments (child-care, aged-care, Seniors Living, Group Homes, camping grounds and other tourist accommodation, outdoor entertainment events); Bushfire Strategic Studies for rezoning applications; Bushfire Emergency Evacuation Plans; Certification (sign-off) at completion of development; Passive and active building designs, features and installations; Asset Protection Zone design and management plans; Detailed list of construction requirements for compliance with AS3959.
Consulting Service
Since August 2002 almost all development proposed on land identified as “bushfire-prone” requires a bushfire assessment to be carried out. The assessments are carried out in accordance with the guidelines set out in the document “Planning For Bushfire Protection” published by the NSW Rural Fire Service.
We routinely operate throughout the Holiday Coast region in NSW, from Grafton to Kempsey including the Dorrigo plateau. We have also worked in metropolitan Sydney, Newcastle and Hunter Valley areas.
